About the Tech4Tomorrow Scholarship
The Tech4Tomorrow Scholarship was inspired by the personal story of Victor Oyegun, Co-Founder of Standout Foundation, whose first computer opened his eyes to the power of technology and the lack of digital access many children face.
As a young boy, Victor saw many bright and talented children who were passionate about technology but had no access to computers, digital tools, or the right support. This experience shaped his desire to help children discover and grow their tech skills.
The scholarship supports exceptional children who are gifted and talented in technology by providing access to digital learning, STEM education, mentorship, and tools to help them thrive.
At its heart, Tech4Tomorrow is about preparing African children for tomorrow, because technology is part of tomorrow, and African children deserve to be part of that tomorrow.

Why the Tech4Tomorrow Scholarship Fund Was Created
The Tech4Tomorrow Scholarship is deeply personal to Victor Oyegun, co-founder of Standout Foundation, because it reflects his journey in the technology space.
Victor still remembers receiving his first computer, a Pentium V, from his father in 2005. At that time, it felt like the greatest gift in the world. He was excited, proud, and full of curiosity. In his community, owning a computer was not common, so he quickly became known as one of the few young people in the neighborhood with access to one.
That early exposure to technology helped Victor grow in knowledge and sparked a deep curiosity in him. What began as excitement for a computer soon developed into a strong passion for creativity, digital learning, and innovation. Over time, that childhood interest continued to shape his path and inspired him to teach himself new skills, including animation, visual storytelling, branding, and digital media.
This passion eventually led Victor to create his own company, VBranding and Advertising (VBA), where he uses technology, creativity, and storytelling to support organizations and bring ideas to life. His journey shows how access to one opportunity can open the door to learning, confidence, creativity, and purpose.
But beyond his personal growth, Victor’s experience also opened his eyes to a deeper reality. He noticed that many other children around him did not have the same opportunity. Some were smart, creative, and interested in technology, but they had no access to computers or digital devices. Many had never even had the chance to sit in front of a computer or explore what technology could do.
